Pablo Antonio y La Firma is not just a tropical Latin band — it is the most recognized and most relevant tropical Latin band in the DMV. Founded in 1998 and performing since 1999, the band has built a legacy of presence on the most prestigious stages in the DMV and beyond, led by a founder with a personal performance career that began in 1981.

A Night in History: The 2009 Latino Inaugural Ball
On January 20, 2009 — the night of President Barack Obama’s inauguration — Pablo Antonio y La Firma was part of the official entertainment program at the 2009 Latino Inaugural Celebration Ball at the Organization of American States World Headquarters in Washington DC. The event brought together the most prominent figures in Latino politics, media and entertainment in the country, including legendary television host Don Francisco, journalist Geraldo Rivera, former Secretary of Housing Henry Cisneros and members of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus. That night the band brought merengue, cumbia, salsa and more to one of the most important diplomatic venues in the Western Hemisphere — before an audience celebrating the beginning of a new era in the history of the United States.
