Pablo Argueta — Alto Saxophonist
Pablo Argueta is the alto saxophonist of Pablo Antonio y La Firma, the tropical Latin band from Washington DC performing since 1999. Based in Silver Spring, Maryland, Pablo received his musical training in his hometown band in El Salvador before continuing his studies at a music school there. His career has taken him through renowned ensembles including Sonora Premier, New Jersey Boston Big Band and other groups, building extensive experience across tropical and big band genres.
Musical Background
With musical roots that began in El Salvador, Pablo Argueta developed his skills on the alto saxophone from an early age. His training in local bands and music schools gave him a solid foundation that he has applied across a variety of genres and formats — from small ensembles to large orchestras. That versatility is precisely what he brings to the sound of Pablo Antonio y La Firma.
